Our Tallow Sun Balm is formulated without any toxic chemicals or chemical filters usually found in sun products. We use only truly natural ingredients, grass-fed tallow, cold-pressed oils and pure essential oils. It is natural, safe and glides perfectly on the skin.

Our Tanning Oil is the one product to soak up all the benefits the sun offers, speed up the tanning process and gradually increase your ability to stay in the sun longer.
Inspired by ancient Greeks and Romans who knew how important the sun is for life and health, we formulated oil that will make your tanning even more effective and enjoyable.
Made from a blend of cold-pressed ancient oils and powered by beta carotene power house - carrot extract, our tanning oil will help you tan faster, and help your skin adjust to sun exposure easier by increasing melanin levels in the outer layer of your skin giving you golden tan while soaking up the sun rays.

FAQ - Sun Balm
What SPF is Sun Balm?
Because our product was not officially tested for exact SPF we cannot claim any SPF on it. But to give you some ideas, our Sun Balm is formulated with 20% Zinc Oxide and every 1% Zinc Oxide is equivalent to around 1,5 SPF units so our Sun Balm should offer protection equivalent to that of 30 SPF factor. Keep in mind that the balm should be reapplied every two hours and after swimming or intense activity to maintain its effectiveness.
When should I use Sun Balm?
We believe that the sun is one of the most important human needs and it’s required for optimal health. A healthy lifestyle, a proper diet without seed oils, eating foods high in vitamins A, E and C, gradual exposure to the sun and respectful sun behaviour should be enough for most people to never burn or need any type of sunscreen.
But there are times when you have to or want to spend more time in the sun and when sun protection is needed. We recommend using Tallow Sun Balm for those days when you cannot avoid prolonged sun exposure. Use it in combination with other protection like hats and white clothing.
How to use Sun Balm?
Apply generously to your face and body 30 minutes before sun exposure.
For prolonged sun exposure reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or intense activity. This is physical sun protection so generous amounts and regular reapplication is needed to prevent sunburn. For even better protection use hats and white clothing.
Is it leaving a white cast?
Every sun product formulated with this amount of non-nano zinc oxide will leave some level of white cast and that’s inevitable. We have formulated it to be gliding and easily melted to the skin so the white cast is less visible.
To minimise the white cast, apply in a couple of thinner layers by gently massaging it into the skin until it’s fully absorbed.
Can I use it with Tanning Oil?
Yes, you can combine and layer Sun Balm and Tanning Oil.
If in a strong sun and want to protect your skin from sunburn, apply Sun Balm first and let it absorb into the skin. Then apply Tanning Oil over Sun Balm.
If tanning is your priority, apply Tanning Oil first and after appropriate tanning time (according to your personal sun tolerance) apply Sun Balm for protection.

FAQ - Tanning Oil
Why should I use Tanning Oil while tanning?
Tanning oil is made to be used during tanning to speed up the tanning process so you get a nice natural sun tan faster. It also helps the skin to adjust to the tanning process faster so it’s ideal if just starting natural tanning.
The best way to start and adjust to the sun is to tan early in the morning and in the afternoon when the sun is not too strong.
Will Tanning Oil make me bronzed?
Our Tanning Oil has no colouring whatsoever and will not make skin bronzed. It will give a light golden glow on the skin that comes from carrot extract and will go away after the oil is absorbed into the skin.
When to use Tanning Oil?
Use it before tanning and sun exposure. Spray it abundantly into the skin, massage it until absorbed and enjoy tanning. Reapply as needed and as often as you want.
Can I use it with Sun Balm?

No, our tanning oil has no SPF and offers no sun protection at all. It is formulated to speed up the tanning process and will not protect against UV rays. If you need protection when in the strong sun, we recommend using hats and light clothing in combination with Sun Balm.
Can I use it as a body lotion?
Yes, you can use it after tanning as a body lotion or moisturizer though it is best when used as tanning oil.
For calming the skin after sun exposure we recommend Original Tallow & Honey Balm as tallow is soothing and moisturising and will nourish skin.

Honestly I hadn’t expected to be THIS in love with the tallow balm- I broke out in terrible hormonal acne after I stopped breastfeeding & having tried ALL the expensive creams in the market, I decided to give tallow a go. If you’re wondering how tallow and honey can possibly act as a skin protectant, this review is for you!;) Spent 3 weeks at the beach and lathered my 3 month old up in nothing but sun balm every day. I wanted to wait 3 months after using the lip balm and the tallow&honey balm. I went from deep cleaning with make up remover, face soap, serum and hydrating face cream from water, tallow soap and tallow balm. And i WILL NEVER LOOK BACK. I never had a severe skin condition, besides dry skin, forehead kind of granulous and some pimples. My forehead and entire face is getting more and more lean and soft, I feel moisturized but not greasy at all after only 3 months, compared to my old routine.
