How to use it?

Take a small amount and gently melt it into your clean skin whenever your skin feels dry.

Our Original tallow & honey balm is super concentrated & without fillers so you only need a very small amount. The standard 60ml (2oz) jar will last you several months with daily use.

Some people use it twice per day while others use it once every few days. You can use this balm on any part of your body or face.

Store the jar in a dry cold place, away from direct sunlight.

How to use it?

After cleansing apply a small amount of Clarifying Cream to the face and neck. Allow to absorb.

Use Clarifying Cream as a last step of your skincare routine, over any other water serums or lighter oils.

We recommend using the Clarifying Cream once or twice per day.

Cleansing Balm

How to use it?

Daily use:

Melt a generous amount into the dry skin and massage it gently for 30-60 seconds. Wet a clean cloth with warm water and place it over your face for 10 seconds. Wipe the residue gently with the cloth. Repeat if necessary until your face is clean.

Apply only to dry skin with dry hands.

Can be used daily, preferably in the evening before applying other skin products. Follow up with our Clarifying Cream or Original Tallow & Honey Balm.

As a weekly detox mask:

The cleansing balm can be used as a detoxifying mask no more than once per week. Apply liberally to dry skin and massage it gently for 60 seconds. Leave it up to 10 minutes on the skin.

Wet a clean cloth with warm water and place it over your face. Leave it for 60 seconds. Take another clean cloth, wet it with warm water and wipe off the excess oils and impurities. Repeat if necessary until clean. Follow up with our Clarifying Cream or Original Tallow & Honey Balm.

Store the jar in a dry cold place, away from direct sunlight.

I’m comfortable in my skin again!

After having my daughter two years ago, I’ve struggled with rosacea issues on my face, particularly on my eye lids. It would get so uncomfortable I’d be driven mad with dryness and itchiness. What a difference a month (and ancestral cosmetics) can make! I’ve been using the clarifying duo and tallow balm and have noticed a massive change in the texture and hydration of my skin. The longer I’ve used it, the less I’ve had to apply, as my skin has soaked it up and is clearly now hydrated layers deep! I’m so grateful to now feel comfortable in my skin once again.

I get flare ups of dermatitis on my scalp, hairline, behind and in my ears which makes my skin so itchy, sore and dry. No other cream has provided the same relief as this tallow. I really am so glad I bought it. My ears five days ago were flaking, red raw and painful. After applying this daily sometimes twice my ears have now calmed down and show signs of healing. ❤️‍🩹 below is one day apart and the difference is definitely there.

WOW!

I suddenly developed severe itching, blisters and swelling on my left hand around 6 months ago. Like most people, I tried EVERYTHING to alleviate the discomfort but nothing worked at all. The pain and itch was truly life limiting and I couldn't use my hand and couldn't sleep. Well, Ancestral Cosmetics Tallow and Honey Balm Ad popped up on Facebook and I decided to make an order (hopeful, but completely believing it was just another product to try that wouldn't work). Well, one week of use and the itch, swelling and blisters are gone. I am putting this positive change soley down to using the balm. I'm shocked! GAME CHANGER!!

My son has struggled with the driest hands known to man. My knuckles would crack and bleed in the winter months, but it was nothing compared to his. Blood on all the knuckles and skin and, quite literally, as rough as an alligator. We have tried everything. I overhead a friend talking about her daughter's skin and she sent me the link to Ancestral Cosmetics. I've known about the benefits of tallow for a long time so I decided to go all in and bought their original tallow, and their cleansing and moisturizing balms as well. WE ARE HOOKED!! With consistent application each night to my son's hands, they have COMPLETELY healed. Great product.

Delighted with this product. My daughter suffers with really bad eczema. I noticed an improvement after just one use. After 4 days of use there was a significant improvement of her skin. I have started using it on my face and dry patches. It's a fabulous product. I have already re-purchased a number of jars to make sure I always have some in stock. Photos were taken 3 days apart. I didn't take a picture before using the product so this picture was taken after first use.

Definitely worth the small investment

I was hesitant to try a new product for my face, especially at the price point this is at. I have been using this for a full month now, and have used maybe 1/6 of the jar. Seriously a tiny tiny amount (pea size) goes a long way, the moisturizing benefits are insane. Very emollient, does not leave me greasy, I live in Alaska and it is dry as heck here in the winter. This has been a game changer for me and my dry skin. Have definitely noticed a difference in the overall appearance and health of my skin, I can go without wearing foundation now which is incredible. I have noticed great glow, healthy complexion, chin/jawline acne has pretty much disappeared. I am a lifetime buyer now and definitely excited to look for body products. For reference I am 38, female, very dry and hormonal skin. Buy buy buy this stuff. I will easily get months out of one jar, so the price is absolutely worth it

Best cream on the market!!!!!

First of all I want to thank Mihael for the absolute best costumer service, as I firstly purchased the ‘Unscented Tallow and Honey Balm’ and didn’t work for the type of issue on my face. However he offered me their ‘Clarifying Cream’ with no extra charge, and I’m absolutely thankful for that.
I’ve attached a compilation of how my face has looked throughout these years, nothing would work for me, I’ve spent thousands and I swear nothing would work, there was always a breakout, itchiness, etc. Second compilation are photos from this week some of them on direct sunlight, I cannot put into words how different I feel and look. Still have some spots due to many years of picking my face but how quickly these spots are fading is astonishing. Thanks for this cream.

I'm so glad that after the sunscreen and sunscreen oil, you've now developed a body cream. Please keep up the good work, and I hope there will be a soap soon. The body cream has a very nice consistency and is very easy to apply. It absorbs well, leaving your skin beautifully smooth. The cream lasts a long time, and you smell like a meadow of flowers. Keeps my skin hydrated and feeling soft all day long. My son who struggles with acne also loves this product. It has helped his acne on his face tremendously as well as his rashes in his armpits. Yes that’s right, he uses this on his outbreaks in his armpits and they are now over 95% gone! Super cool product!
