How to use Clarifying Cream?
After cleansing apply a small amount of Clarifying Cream to the face and neck. Allow to absorb.
Use Clarifying Cream as a last step of your skincare routine, over any other water serums or lighter oils.
We recommend using the Clarifying Cream once or twice per day.
Store the jar in a dry cold place, away from direct sunlight.
How to use Cleansing Balm?
1. Daily use:
Melt a generous amount into the dry skin and massage it gently for 30-60 seconds. Wet a clean cloth with warm water and place it over your face for 10 seconds. Wipe the residue gently with the cloth. Repeat if necessary until your face is clean.
Apply only to dry skin with dry hands.
Can be used daily, preferably in the evening before applying other skin products. Follow up with our Clarifying Cream or Original Tallow & Honey Balm.
2. As a weekly detox mask:
The cleansing balm can be used as a detoxifying mask no more than once per week. Apply liberally to dry skin and massage it gently for 60 seconds. Leave it up to 10 minutes on the skin.
Wet a clean cloth with warm water and place it over your face. Leave it for 60 seconds. Take another clean cloth, wet it with warm water and wipe off the excess oils and impurities. Repeat if necessary until clean. Follow up with our Clarifying Cream or Original Tallow & Honey Balm.
Store the jar in a dry cold place, away from direct sunlight.

First of all I want to thank Mihael for the absolute best costumer service, as I firstly purchased the ‘Unscented Tallow and Honey Balm’ and didn’t work for the type of issue on my face. However he offered me their ‘Clarifying Cream’ with no extra charge, and I’m absolutely thankful for that.
I’ve attached a compilation of how my face has looked throughout these years, nothing would work for me, I’ve spent thousands and I swear nothing would work, there was always a breakout, itchiness, etc. Second compilation are photos from this week some of them on direct sunlight, I cannot put into words how different I feel and look. Long story short, I SEVERLEY damaged my skin barrier by overusing topical actives to the point my skin burned with anything applied. Me and my husband have been looking for natural skin care and oral health. This product does not disappoint. I have chronic dry lips and the lip balm is amazing. The face cream smells great! And the sun balm works on our 4 year old daughter!!!!
It took two weeks for my skin to adjust to the Tallow balm, no it didn't completely magically resolve my hormonal acne instantly but it has made it SO MUCH BETTER! I’ve been searching and searching for a moisturizer that keeps my face hydrated and dewy all day and this is the stuff right here. FAQ - Clarifying Cream
Seed oils are bad. Why are you using "seed oil"?
Most commonly crucified seed oils today (canola AKA rapeseed, sunflower, soy, corn) are highly processed, bleached and deodorized with chemicals. This processing adds harmful chemicals to the oil itself making it unsuitable for human use.
These oils can have an unbalanced Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio and are generally high in PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) making them unsuitable for use in food and highly susceptible to oxidation when heated (aka cooking).
Black seed oil is an ancient oil. It's minimally processed by cold-pressing it (similar to olive oil) which preserves all the beneficial compounds in the oil such as thymoquinone and doesn't add any harmful chemicals in the process.
Extracted the way our ancestors did it thousands of years ago.
Can I use Clarifying Cream in the morning?
Yes, our Clarifying Cream is perfect to be used in the morning as a standalone product, as part of your skincare routine or under makeup. Can also be used in the evening instead of night cream as a last step in a skincare routine.
Can I use Clarifying Cream with other acne treatments?
Yes, our clarifying cream can be used in combination with other acne treatments or skincare products.
Will Clarifying Cream improve my acne?
Black seed's main active compound Thymoquinone has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties so it has positive effects on acne. Combined with raw honey, beef tallow and essential oils that have proven track of calming breakouts and cleaning up the pores, the Clarifying Cream should be beneficial for anyone with acne-prone skin.
Bear in mind that sometimes the main cause of acne can be more complex and we always recommend cleaning up your diet, nutrition, check hormones etc to find the root cause for acne breakouts.
Is Clarifying Cream only for oily skin?
No, Clarifying Cream is perfect for all skin types including dry and normal skin types. This is because of our mix of ingredients such as tallow which is used as a moisturiser for dry skin and black seed oil and jojoba which are both excellent in hydrating the skin.
Can I use Clarifying Ceam if I have dry skin?
Yes, clarifying cream is perfect for all skin types including dry and normal skin. It will provide intense moisturisation while being light and non-greasy on the skin.
Why do you use black seed oil in your cream?
Black seed oil is an ancient oil used in skincare for thousands of years. Thanks to its main active compound thymoquinone, it is an extremely potent antioxidant and offers antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties while being completely safe and natural.
Are there any essential oils in this cream?
Yes, we use 100% pure organic essential oils of Clary Sage, Chamomile and Rose Geranium. The concentration of the essential oils is very low but just enough for them to provide their therapeutic and beneficial effects on acne-prone skin and oily skin especially.
Is Clarifying Cream made from beef tallow?
Yes, our clarifying cream is made from only the purest 100% grass-fed Irish beef tallow, the same one we use in our Original Tallow & Honey Balm and our other products.
What's the difference between Clarifying Cream and the Original Balm?
The Original Tallow & Honey Balm is an all-purpose tallow-based balm. It is a rich moisturiser suitable for anyone and all parts of the body. It's truly the main multitasker.
Our Clarifying cream is made with beef tallow too but it’s specifically formulated to be used on the face, especially on oily or acne-prone skin.
Clarifying Cream is lighter and thinner in structure, less greasy on the skin and formulated with strong, potent ingredients like black seed extract, black seed oil, raw honey and therapeutic essential oils blends.
Is this cream a whipped tallow balm version?
Our Clarifying Cream has a smooth, soft and thin texture but it is not a version of whipped tallow balm. Whipped tallow balm is usually just tallow and a touch of other oils whipped to get a soft texture.
